Hi so in London about a month ago I was waiting for pushback for about 2 hours and I was thinking that maybe there could be a feature saying how long of a wait time is predicted like this

BigBoi2727 hold position expected waiting time is 8 years
The thing is… Our expert controllers can’t predict that nor enforce it as there are so many factors that could occur when a controller sets a expected time
I like the idea though but this is just my take on it

It’s not really needed to have a feature that tells you how crowded the airport is. As a pilot, you should be able to plan how busy it will be and know approximately how long it would take to move around.

I’m annoyed that I have to wait almost 1 hour in Dubai … still, I’m still waiting … In addition, people who are not 5 minutes drine get a pushback but the almost 1 hour waiting for nothing … I puke

Currently there are 50+ aircraft on the ground alone at Dubai with a ton more in the air… With conditions like this - Wait or Leave… You really can’t get mad when the controllers are working as hard as they can to have everything run smoothly…

I would understand if everyone has to wait … but they did not understand me … I’m waiting longer than others why do they get a pushback … that’s unfair

Dubai is running at its full capacity right now. I can only let someone push every now and then and can’t look through each individual plane to see who’s been waiting the longest. I’m doing my best to push the ones who have been patient. If you don’t want to wait don’t come to Dubai.

Hello Ethan it can not be that I have to wait 1 hour to get a pushback … I know it may be that a lot is going on and everyone has to wait but there are players that are not 10 minutes in there and they get a pushback that is unfair…
Controllers can’t remember of every person how long they have been standing

Just keep in mind that if you don’t want the heavy traffic the training or casual server is always open. You choose to have traffic if you go to expert server hotspots, that’s just the way it is. Controllers can’t be expected to memorize who has been waiting the longest, they are dealing with a lot at once and are doing their best.
Nobody is entitled to anything, these are volunteers working hard for your enjoyment.

Why isn’t there a feature that allows controllers to see which aircraft has been waiting the longest? That seems like a pretty easy thing to implement.
It seemed like he was still addressing the wait time issue. That’s what the topic was about so why did you ask him to move it to PMs?
If you’ve ever seen the ATC window on a busy day you’ll notice that it is extremely crowded, ATC can barely see the aircraft’s callsign. Wouldn’t be easy to implement or use.
I’ve been waiting for about an hour as well (Jet Airways) and I get that the airport is busy. But just heard an announcement that Dubai Ground is closing in a few minutes. All that wait for nothing.
Another controller will likely takeover.
There is provision in-game to set reminders of 1 min, 2 min etc for each aircraft sort of like a timer where the aircraft starts flashing on the radar after the said time is over.
