Yesterday I was approaching EGLL with active ATC on expert server. I only saw these ’Expect vectors for…’ messages, but no runway assignment or anything more. Is this a bug in the game?
I haven’t had the problem before.

It’s being investigated. A reproduction of the issue is the hardest thing here. Seems to be a bit inconsistent, but we’re looking into it! :)
