Am I supposed to contact ground and request taxi to parking or do I contact tower to request parking? Because unless I’m misunderstanding I need some help with a the ground and (possibly) tower controller of having no understanding of controlling stations. Occurring before 0749 Zulu Time (SIM)/2319 (REAL).
Hey Mate, for a “Request Taxi to parking” you need to contact ground frequency.
You are required to contact tower to ask for take off/landing clearance or when crossing a runway.

There is your issue. Any Infinite Flight subscriber with access to the Training Server can control. Just as lower-grade pilots use that Server to build their skills, less-skilled controllers do the same.
If you want more seamless ATC communications, I suggest flying on the Expert Server, where all controllers are trained through IFATC.

Totally understand! And the thing is that maybe it’s because I was a tutor for two courses in college and I enjoy helping people out and teaching them how things work especially in a highly procedural field. YES, I recognize it’s TRAINING server, but as the unverified quote supposedly by Albert Einstein reads, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” In other words, hopefully you see that I’m getting at hopefully I understand that ‘training’ is to help understand or train people how things work.

Of course. I wish we could help and get the controller’s name, but it’s few and far between finding a controller’s IFC linked on TS.
