Following our new partnership, Global Air Forces and Indonesian Air Forces Virtual collaborated for Exercise Aerosync.
Held out of Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Indonesia. Our C130 and C17 crews took part in Combat Search and Rescue training, using satellite imagery to identify islands in the Makassar Strait, alongside low level flying to refine navigation and tactical approach skills.
Fighter elements focused on formation flying, air to air combat, air to ground bombing as well as air to air refueling.
The exercise marked a major step forward in joint capability and cooperation between GAF and @IDAF_Virtual and we look forward to building on this success in future operations.
