Estonian Air E170 🇪🇪
What is Estonian Air?
Estonian was the flag carrier of Estonia since its founding in the late 1900s. They flew many earlier aircraft (Yaks, etc.) and this was one of their last. They only had one E-170.
The airline ceased operations in 2015 due to financial struggles and corporate issues.
Before the airline shut down, they were considering phasing out their Embraer for a complete CRJ 500 and 700 fleet.
Why do we need this livery?
I think it is important to honor and remember the lesser known airlines that we don’t have with us any more.
Plus, it’s a gorgeous livery, and I think it would fit in very well with the IF fleet.
