This may be something that’s been asked before, but I couldn’t find anything about it.
Is it possible to escort another pilot while landing, do a go around and then land yourself?
I’m talking about the Advanced Server.
It would be nice to be able to do when you see pilots you know. I don’t know how to clear this with ATC and I don’t want ATC to think I’m screwing things up and therefore possibly get ghosted. So, what’s the procedure?
I’ve spent a lot of time working flight test in real life. Especially in the early stages we almost always have chase aircraft escort us to landing, and then go around for landing. However I don’t know how well it translates to IF… I usually request transition, and leave the pattern after the plane has landed. Plus I only use fighters to keep it somewhat realistic… I really don’t know if they would allow this on advanced
I think that was me. It is not allowed in the advanced server unless their is an event which allows this.
