I have encountered this problem with the last times a new version was released. I have uninstalled the app, turned the iPhone completely off, and reinstalled the app — I get the same error.

Have you tried on both WIFI and Cellular?
Have you tried a different WIFI network?
Are you using a VPN?
IPhone 7 Plus iOS 12.2 WIFI. I will disable WIFI and try cellular.
