I know it may not fix the issue right away, which is fine, but can you, @schyllberg, or someone fix a common issue that other users have when they receive an Error Code 8 whenever you get a chance?
Apologies for this issue and the slight delay in getting it fixed. We’ve just pushed a server update which should let you start a flight in multiplayer once again.
Let us know if you’ve had a chance to try it and if it works. We’ll continue monitoring from our end :)
No worries! Technology is far from perfect as much as we all want it that way! I guess I meant to add that prior to 24.4 I received code 8 when trying to link and I think it was due to having a “ghost account” I think I’ve seen it referred to as. @schyllberg and/or @Cameron
Yeah that was an faulty code in reality.
Code 5 is the one that should be shown when you’re trying to link to an existing account but it was showing Code 8.
We’ve cleaned up the error codes a bit now so Code 7 & 8 are primarily some sort of connection issue
As a now I am aware was technically a wrong error code—regarding what I think was referring to an account issue—should I try to link community to the app again?
