Error 8 message after the new update

Device: Huawei Pura 70
Operating system: EMUI 14.2

I’m not sure if I’m the only one having this problem, but ever since I updated the app to 26.1. I have been getting an Error 8 every time I try to load into the app.

Before you say, try resetting your Wi-Fi or switching to cellular data. I have done everything possible to fix the problem, but I still have not seen results.

P.S. The app did work before the new update, and the problem has only started after the update.

You are not the first one I see with issues on a Huawei device. I think the latest update made it so Huawei devices can’t use it anymore.

I hope I’m wrong on this, but I fear they won’t. They focus on Android and IOS.

Maybe because I checked on an old Samsung and the app loaded in without any problems
