Upon updating my account was logged out and each time I try to re-connect my account. I am getting error 8.

Is this error code happening when you open the app or when you attempt to log in? Does it mention the Infinite Flight servers? My first suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall the app, and then let us know if the issue persists.
