My Opinion
In my opinion this would be a great addition because of the lack of GA aircrafts in IF. This Epic E1000 is a very fast medium range turboprop build out of the most advanced materials. For example the fuselage is made mostly out of composite materials like carbon fiber. That’s one of the advantages it does have over its competitors like the TBM or the PC-12NG.Yes this aircraft is not in production yet but it is going to be certified within 2018. But this won’t be a problem because there was in the early 2000s a kitplane (wich the E1000 is based on) called the Epic LT. But the manufacturer got bankrupt. Nevertheless there are some airplanes out there (LT) wich could be used to get some information because the LT and the E1000 are only minor differences between those two.
Description of the manufacturer
Ready for launch. Climb out at 3,000 feet per minute, fully loaded, quickly and efficiently reaching altitudes you may not have flown through before. Level off at a maximum authorized ceiling of 34,000 feet. Stretch as you relax in the spacious cockpit, surveying an instrument panel more reminiscent of your luxury car than an aircraft. The ergonomically–designed flight deck consolidates pilot workflow and data management, returning aviation to what it should be: intuitive, engaging and fun. With a range of over 1650 nautical miles carrying a payload of 1100 pounds fully-fueled, your destination options are endless, especially given Epic’s superior slow-speed handling and short-field performance. Imagine the possibilities…
