Entries vs Replays

Does anyone know what the actually difference between an entry and a replay is? I have finished multiple long haul flights and when they load into the logbook, it appears as an entry only so I cannot view them back again.

i guess in entries its only count your FLIGHT TIME not taxi on ground and standing gates.

The logbook entry tab takes you to the archive of your flight history in the form of a text entry. If you look closely it records the flight time and not the session time.

The replay tab is your archive of replay files. If you look at the time it shows the actual session time. You can also “edit” and put a comment here unlike the logbook entry.

Another difference is that if you use multiple devices, all your flights will be still be entered and listed in the logbook entry regardless of which device you used (since it’s under the same account). However, your replay list is device-specific—unless you import a replay.

Entries form your account stats (flight time, landings etc), whereas replays allow you to view past flights

An Entry is ANY flight you do no matter the server and will stay in your logbook PERMANENTLY unless you want use a different account

A replay is the same thing but these can be deleted at any time

The flight time listed is also different because on a replay is the SESSION time from spawning in to ending the flight including taxi and flight time

On an entry the flight time listed is just the time spent airborne

So how do I be able to make all my flights replays and not entires?

If you start a flight, then a replay should automatically be generated.

People are having issues with replays generated so it’s possible you might be having this issue? Care to share a screenshot of your replay tab and logbook entry tab?

Yes there is an issue which other people have experienced where replays aren’t being generated.

Are you on the latest version with the recent hotfix, 25.1.3?

Bear in mind that replays are only stored on the device they were recorded on.
But “entries” are on the account so they will show up regardless of which device you’re opening the app on. Replays will however only show on the device they were flown on.

Same if reinstalling. All replays are deleted if you reinstall the app, but the logbook (entries) will remain.

Yes i am fully updated.

And you are playing on only one device right?

If you are updated with the latest update (hotfix) that was released last week then at this point I don’t know why replays aren’t being generated for you. Your last replay was from version 25.1.1 and there have already been 2 hotfixes since then.

You can always try to reinstall the app as a last resort.
