Is there a way I can start the plane’s engines with a keyboard?
I see these keybinds, but I don’t know how to use them. I’m using a yoke with a keyboard so someone please help. I would like to be able to start the engines without touching my phone at all.

You should be able to just click it on your device then click the key on the keyboard to assign it.

Yes. If your yoke does not have buttons then you will need to use a double OTG cord, that is a special USB that will allow you to connect both a keyboard and a joystick, this is under the assumption that you are using Android.
It must be an OTG that has two ports. Then you click the “unassigned” buttons to the right of the “Start Specific Engine” and click the key that you want to be used for that task.
My yoke does have buttons, so how would I assign them to work? I’ve already tried to asign the buttons but nothing happened when I tried it out.
Nothing happens. For example, I would asign the start button to “Tab”. When I test it out in game, nothing happens when I press it. This happens to any button I asign it, whether it is in my yoke or my keyboard.
Ok. Try setting them again but while your spawned in at an airport. Dont do it from the main game menu but rather fly solo and go into the setting menu from the pause and set it.
Do not do this on expert though as the plane could be all over the place

My joystick I am able to assign it, but it never works for me so I never have used that feature. Personally its better to use my screen then on the joystick. But on the flip side I have programmed all 15 buttons for basically the most important keypresses.

How did I not know you could set the keybinds in IF?!?! Where has this been for all my life?!?!
