Engine slats?

What are these small “mini-wings” called, and what are their purposes? Make a guess, I don’t know.

It smoothes airflow over the engines and increases airflow over the wing. Forgot what they’re called though.

It’s evolution. Planes evolved from Dolphins. The mini wing is its dorsal fin.

Basically, the engine has those to make the airflow smoother. It also, increased lift when/at takeoff.

Vortex generators.

737s have them on wings (a lot) and tail also.
