Fire in the Left Engine.
Engine:PW4098
There were 302 passengers and 17 crews on board.

Rw34L/16R, Rw22/04 and Rw23/05 were opened in 14:34(JST)
*All runway are opened around 18:30(JST)

Almost all plane were diverted to RJAA, RJBB and so on.

Saw this on the news. Luckily the fire stopped and everyone was evacuated safely.

Very similar to the BA 777 in the same situation at LAS a bit ago.

Different engines though.

Maybe the problem could be a design flaw in the GE engines in all 777s or simply something went wrong like a mechanical failure or maintenance error…

Korean has PWs and BA used Trents.
