I understand this may be the wrong category for this question but i tried sending an emoji and it didn’t work. Can anyone tell me how to use an emoji?

Discourse emojis are disabled on here. You should still be able to send the ones you find on a phone keyboard

Emojis used to exist in this forum before. However, it was removed as it was cluttering the forum.
You can use your own emojis provided on your device 😉

I’m not to sure but I think that all emojis other than iOS ones have been disabled on the forum. I’m sure someone else know the rule better than me
