Is this a fever dream?

Very exciting! There have been rumors and talk about a Middle Eastern airline (probably Emirates or Qatar) coming to Minneapolis. There’s certainly a demand, especially for connecting passengers. I wonder if now that they have the A359, Emirates would make a move.

It’s so exciting! Emirates has been waiting on new aircraft for a long time especially with the delay of the 777X and retiring older aircraft. So now that the A350s are on the way, their network is slowly growing and allows them to serve long haul routes with less demand then which justifies the 77W for example. There’s also rumours about expansion into the Balkans!

I good one for sure 😂

Also waiting for Air India’s A350 livery to be added for that same reason!

Can’t wait to see the fleet in 10 years. At this stage if you need a380 parts you probably contact émiraties instead of Airbus.

They’ll still be flying well into the 2030s/40s though!

Super happy for Lyon 🤩 great upgrade

It’s nice that they are relaunching the Edinburgh route. I’m not sure why they would stop it and fly to Glasgow instead I always thought Glasgow would be the one to be axed. These are all B777 routes though so it’s sad to see one of my favourite planes slowly going out of service.

Pretty sure, Edinburgh was cut due to low demand during the pandemic. Scotland had very strict measures in place.

Hi I could be wrong but they first said back in 2023 said that they where going to relaunch the Dubai to Adelaide route again using the A350. Is that still happening??

This is certainly an exciting time for Emirates and being Scottish, it’s fantastic to see Edinburgh re-added to the route network with the A350!

Yes that was the original plan when the route was expected to be launched in the Summer 2024 and that’s been pushed back to October 28th. But, the route will utilize the B77L (what the A350 is replacing) so it is quite possible that it may be switched as the first 10 arrive. I can’t remember where I found the article, I think it was on Simple Flying maybe.

Yea I was thx for the calcification!!!

I can’t wait they pass in Nice (LFMN) one day !
