Guys its a sad day for me when the Emirates A330 and A340 retires on 29th and 30th of October respectively. The Final flights are on:
A330: 29 October EK523 Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai.
29 October EK 521 Thiruvananthapuram to
Dubai.
A340: 30 October EK7252 Muscat to Dubai.
Aircraft registrations will be finalised 30 minutes before Departure from Dubai
That’s sad. TBH the Emirates a330/340 just aren’t as iconic as the Boeing 777 and the a380.
RIP EK A330 and A340. You both served well.
Omg, The A330’s retirement Will take place during My birthday X.X
It’s Sad to see those beauties go ;-;
Beautiful aircraft. While they are retiring a A340-300 I was more upset when they retired the A340-500. Don’t forget they’re also retiring the 772ER on that day.
Sure looks amazing!
I hope you like this picture as this could have got me arrested and jailed for many years
Emirates shoud get some a330-300 That woud be nice.
Are you saying that they should get some more?
Thats what i think
Guess you’ll have to change your icon:-)
Please no god!!! NOOOOOO!!!
I think that’s what we are all think right now. So sad
RIP Emirates A330 and A340
I wish Emirates would sell there A380s and not retire these. The A380’s just a flying piece of expensive garbage that Qantas does not understand how to maintain. Imagine how beautiful an Emirates A350, or even a 747-400 with Rolls Royce engines or even a 787 would look. If I ran Emirates I would have never ordered the A380. This would be my fleet:
(20) Airbus A330-200
(05) Airbus A330-300
(10) Airbus A340-300
(20) Airbus A340-500
(06) Airbus A340-600
(15) Airbus A350-900
(18) Boeing 747-400
(46) Boeing 777-200
(20) Boeing 777-200ER/LR
(10) Boeing 777-300ER
(10) Boeing 777-9X
(10) Boeing 787-9
This is my dream fleet for not only Emirates but for my airlines wide body fleet.
Emirates should follow this I’m sad that they won’t;)
Anyone know what’s happening with the aircraft?
A340-300 or A340-500?
I like the A380
Maybe they’ll sell them to Ryanair, they’re buying up jets all over the place.
777 does the job just great.
And Ryanair would cram 10 to a row front to back with 29in pitch.
