If you want to stop on the runway and fake an emergency, go ahead and take your luggage with you as you slide to the training server. Oh, and the exit nearest to you may be behind you.

Tbh though, this is probably the worst feature to ever have been suggested in a long time. Donāt take it as an insult, think of it as something we really really really really donāt have any use of, maybe after we get some actual emergency situationsā¦ just maybeā¦ probably notā¦

emergency slides are different from emergencies. the purpose of slides is for people to simulate emergencies. actual emergencies in game I dont think is going to happen anytime soon but I think emergency slides can easily be added as we currently have openable doors and 3D vehicles are coming. And maybe many people are against it due to fears but I am sure many players, such as those not on this website and those playing on training and casual server would love it. Infinite flight is not just for serious players (who make up the majority of the infinite flight community) but also for casual and fun players
and in terms of people saying my claims are not backed up, it is common knowledge in the industry of flight simulators (from my personal experience) that emergency slides are always one of the most highly requested features but are rarely added
I think that the appropriate time to add slides would be when we have actual emergencies. Maybe in the slight chance that you would have an emergency, the ability to activate te slides would become available. What Iām saying is, that you would only see the button to activate the slides if you had an emergency presented to you in-flight. But as I said, this should wait till we have emergencies.

i do not think emergencies are coming into the game anytime soon and that would be much more difficult to implement and to be honest i dont think as many people would care about emergencies as actual slides. because slides allow simulation and creativity. I dont think its necessary to have emergencies in order to have slides.

no but no one has evidence to say that slides are not wanted. the purpose of voting is to show who wants it and i have faith that this is a highly desired feature, based on my personal life experience in flight simulators
But if they were added with emergencies, and the player were only able to activate the slides if they were given an emergency, this would reduce the amount of trolls and unnecessary slide deployments, which is probably the thing making your feature less valid.
yes I know. but in infinite flight, one of the big things is having the ability to control and simulate the flight as you desire. I have suggested several mechanisms to prevent the problem of trolls such as having a certain quota, or time limits spent on the runway, or requiring ATC permissions, Basically I made this feature request so people can vote and we can see how popular this is, and if it is added the staff will obviously easily find some way to deal with these potential problems so it really is not something that should stir up so much controversial fear

I donāt usually bring other flight simulators into the forum to prove a point but here we goā¦ X-Plane, P3D, FSX, FS2020ā¦ In all of those 4 simulators (bearing in mind just how many add-ons you can get for them), I have never flown, nor seen, an aircraft that has emergency slides equipped. The A320 model that cost me $90 does not come with emergency slides, nor has anyone ever requested the feature to be added. Bearing in mind these simulators can all accurately depict emergencies in flight and such. The reason they arenāt added is because they serve literally no purpose, and because there just isnāt a big enough demand for them to be included. The only time they are added is in the form of a 3rd party mod, and then they typically do not work as intended, so nobody uses them.
Saying they are a highly requested feature, I think, is just not true, when much bigger simulators have never had more than a handful of people even question their existence.
Whilst I agree it would be a cool thing to have, it would just be that. A cool thing. A novelty. But who knows, maybe youāll amass 1000 votes and prove us all wrong. Until then, I wouldnāt get your hopes upā¦

First at all, I donāt know if this is for shouting or what, but for some people it looks rude or similar. Also, for others it looks like spam again.
I understand and I agree that we need emergencies in-game. But, we have a lot of requests for more emergencies. Thoses slides should be added when emergencies come like engine fire, engine falure and abort Takeoff, etc. However, the deps doesnāt have the intention now.

no the emphasis is on voting is to encourage people who like slides, but fear āabusingā to not fear and feel free to vote so the devs can see how highly desired this is
also i already said emergency slides will allow simulating emergencies and it is totally different from emergencies which i do not think are actually as necessary as slides
