Wow! Was the final plane taking off? Seen a documentary about it.

I love the DC-3 too!

They sadly didn’t take off.

DO they still fly? I heard they don’t fly either.

I don’t believe they can.

Nice photos! Man the Nimrod is the perfect name for that aircraft. Didn’t know they could make the comet uglier.

The DC-3 is one of my all time favourites, my great grandad use to fly one of these! I can’t imagine what an experience it must have been 😀

Oh my God! You’ve spotted a TS 1 Pilot!! Ugh, those nimrods, they’re everywhere!

Amazing photos, however!

Thank you, i have spotted the wild TS1 pilot taxing.

I find the design on the Nimrod fascinating! Love how the engines are made into the wings. Excellent engineering.

It’s very similar to The Comet…

except The Comet’s safety record is quite appalling compared to the Nimrod.

The Nimrod is a modified version of the comet so that’s why they look so similar.

Wowzers, I love the looks of the planes. Great composition of your photos.

Thank you very much.
