This was my first time flying the A380 in the app, I didn’t fly the old version either.
I was pleasantly surprised with this one, cumbersome but easy to fly, it isn’t as pitch sensitive as the B787, and my takeoff and landing weights closely matched the numbers given by Simbrief (unlike the Max, in which I have to trust the fuel loaded, use the resulting weight, and then substract 8000kg to get the approximate landing weight).
I found trimming the aircraft between 60 and 75% gives you a very smooth transition when turning off the A/P.
