Will landings be partly rated on correct height? I see a lot of people at 5ft over the threshold when they should be 30-50, or is it just on touchdown

3 Likes

yes…landings will be based on correct height, smoothness and centered

I would say touchdown

@Milen_Jacob @calocat that’s called a contradiction
It’s just annoying to see 99% of pilots literally aiming at the threshold and then floatin along to the touchdown, you should be at 30 feet and arrest your descent

Hi, would I be able to use this route and still participate?

EGBB SID DTY STAR EGGW

Using DTY1L Dep for 15. http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic/pamslight-E1E4AECD044D23F314C7C7C6DE6C389D/7FE5QZZF3FXUS/EN/Charts/AD/AIRAC/EG_AD_2_EGBB_6-4_en_2016-11-10.pdf

Or vectors from 33

Arriving at EGGW can I use the

The DTY196 Radial

Then the BKY273 Radial for vectors after LOREL, http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadbasic/pamslight-E1E4AECD044D23F314C7C7C6DE6C389D/7FE5QZZF3FXUS/EN/Charts/AD/AIRAC/EG_AD_2_EGGW_7-1_en_2017-03-02.pdf

I believe thae STAR is called the LOREL1K
And I’ll see you there.

Thanks Maksim V-1
