EIS 2 on the Airbus A320ceo Family

Hi, everyone!

The Airbus A320 Family is truly one the most well known and one of the most common short-haul airliner family soaring the skies.

As the technologies go further, Airbus has decided to supply the A320s with the LCD EIS 2 Glass Cockpit (EIS stands for Electronic Information System).

The new avionics has been on for quite a long time now, so that is why I think it will be good refresh to the A320 fleet in IF.

How does the difference look like?

Here is a look to its successor, the EIS 2. Personally, I find this layout as a modern-like and contrast design which sits the innovative aircraft like the A320.

It is confirmed that the A320Neo will come to IF, and the Neo does have the EIS 2 Glass Cockpit. But it would be truly cool to see the Ceo to have this modern layout as well.

Nice idea, I think they will be implemented in the A320neo family if I’m right.

Kinda shocked they didn’t update the current A320 family cockpit in IF when the 330 came out tbh.

Yes, you’re right. The A320neo Family does have this sort-of new (because it has been around for quite a time now) EIS2 LCD Glass Cockpit. As a little refresh to the A320ceo fleet in IF, it will be interesting to see it being implemented in the future.
