Thanks for having me! I’ll leave my feedback below.
Feedback I-JNCO
Nico job with the transition!
I believe you were trying to follow LEPA’s IRL procedures, which is great to see. However, in IFATC training sessions where parallel runways are used, it is always encouraged to use both of them. When I called inbound on (a sort of) RDW after transitioning overhead, you could give me 06R and organize traffic, not to have a too-busy runway with the possibility of getting confused with the sequencing.
Kinda similar to the bullet point above, but when someone asks for a runway change, if they are in an appropriate position to do so (i.e. on UW, CW, DW or base, and not on a short final), feel free to give them that runway by appropriately sending them the correct pattern entry and sequence if needed. I got my runway change as I requested, which is great, but I also heard an “Unable”.
General feedback
Overall, it seemed like a nice session! Sadly, my ATC audio was bugged throughout the session so I might’ve missed a couple of commands I cannot give you feedback on. My biggest tip would be to keep in mind, as a general non-written rule, to have planes on the left side of the airfield/LDW on the left runway (i.e. 06L), and every other one on the opposite side on the right runway (i.e. 06R) whenever it is possible. Keep up the good work and keep practising, I can’t wait to see you in IFATC soon
Thank you for the feedback! It was my mistake giving you right downwind for 6L (that was stupid!!) but I realised it and corrected it. There was an’ unable’ earlier which I gave to someone else (bare in mind they were sending quite a few messages at once for some reason) but I decided to eventually just go with it and let people land where they want. I do like to stick to real world operations, but I’ve realised for training purposes it’s not worth it.
