Edelweiss Air Overview

Edelweiss Air AG is a Swiss leisure and charter airline and the sister company of Swiss International Air Lines and a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. The airline has a fleet of 3 x A340-300, 15 x A320-200 and 4 (+2) x A350-900.

The Airline flies to many different destinations around the world like Las Vegas, Phuket, Zanzibar, Colombo, Skiathos and many more unique destinations!

Why this livery

Edelweiss is expected to receive a total of 6 neos. The new livery on the A320neo looks really nice and now include as mask around the cockpit. Older liveries will be updated to include the same livery. The extra range also opens up new routes! HB-JDB was originally at SWISS, before being transferred to Edelweiss. The other 5 Neos will come from Austrian Airlines.

It looks amazing. I wonder if they will get additional A350s from Swiss or Lufthansa as well.

I took this picture from HB-JDB after pushback from Gate B33 before its next flight to Rhodes! The livery looks so perfectly on the A320neo! :heart_eyes:

Its only one used A320neo from Swiss which was grounded for a long time. 4 more A320neos coming in the next months also used from Austrian.
