Edelweiss Air AG is a Swiss leisure and charter airline and the sister company of Swiss International Air Lines and a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group. The airline has a fleet of 5 x A340-300, 14 x A320-200 and soon 6 x A350-900.
The Airline flies to many different destinations around the world like Las Vegas, Phuket, Zanzibar, Colombo, Skiathos and many more unique destinations!
Why this livery
The A350-900 will be replacing the aging A340-300’s in the Edelweiss fleet. This new aircraft is expected to become the flagship of the airline. The livery has a very sleek and simple design which matches the design of the A350 very well.
I look forward to hopefully seeing this in the sim one day!
probably wont as they will be stationed at Zurich, maybe some hops to geneva but rather unlikely as Edelweiss does not serve ZRH-GVA-ZRH on a regular basis
They did use GVA for 330, 340 etc crew training, I believe they’ll do it again for the 350. Also they fly for Swiss on ZRH-GVA-ZRH pretty often. But everything I have is hope, anyway I’ll go to Zurich to see it if needed.
