EAviation’s ATC Tracking Thread - [Closed] @ N/A

Hey, I’m trying to work my way up to IFATC, so I wanted to start a tracking thread for some ATC practice. Please feel free to join me in the training server and help me get in some practice and operations. Feedback is also much appreciated.

Thanks, will do

Alright, I was PH-NSB. I have feedback for you:

  • Ground work was good, nothing to note here.

  • Takeoff clearence was issued appropriately

  • You do not have to specify whether an aircraft will be making right or left traffic after being cleared for the option, that is normally only done when the aircraft in question had requested for a runway change where they may have to make a different traffic. Also at 20:48:37 you had cleared me again for the option runway 17R, you generally only need to issue this clearence once per pattern leg.

  • Instead of extending the downind for N1AS at 20:46:25, you could have sequenced them to be no.2 following the traffic on final for runway 17L and they would turn base once they are behind Avianca 129VA (sequencing always comes first before clearence, aside from pattern entry when someone is entering the airspace under radar vectors, Flight Following or having requested a runway change). Extending my downwind however was appropriate so I would not break seperation rules with N1AS, good job!

  • You seem to have not issued an exit runway command for N109 (Avianca 129VA), you usually do that when an aircraft has reached about 70 knots ground speed. This exit runway command comes with the instruction for the aircraft to change frequency when they have entered the taxiway so they would not need to ask you for a frequency change or you giving them a frequency change

I have to apologize for my… little happy accident back there, I seem to have made a major mistake and barely recovered back into the air 😅. I am sure that you will become better with time. Feel free to tag me when you have your next session so that I can do some more things with you!

Great! Thank you so much for the advice, and i’ll take it into careful consideration

😂 Dw it happens
