easyJet receives first Airbus A320neo!

As of yesterday, easyJet became the first British carrier to receive an A320neo! G-UZHA was handed over at Toulouse and carried out a delivery flight to London Luton via Paris Orly.

The aircraft is the first of 130 orders the airline has placed for A320neo and A321neo aircraft.

Her first flights are set for tomorrow, with services to Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Madrid. I’m flying with easyJet back and forth from AMS over the weekend, maybe I’ll be lucky enough to fly on the new jet!

Nice! Based at Luton too so only 20 minutes away from me. Might see if I can get on it in August/September. Let me know what it’s like if you do get in it!

I should be on a Lufthansa one on Tuesday hopefully.

If I’m lucky enough to fly on G-UZHA, I’ll write a flight review for sure! Where are you flying to?

I love those big neo CFM engines in different colors: the SAS red and the EZY orange make the neo look even greater.

If it ever comes to the Isle of Man I can assure you that I will write the wrong registration on the dispatch paperwork. Far too used to writing G-EZ__

And where did they find the room for 6 extra seats?

Nice! Jetstar better hurry up and confirm their order or else they’ll be waiting for a while. And then Virgin Australia will recieve its 737-8 MAXs next year.

Caught it on 20/06/17 at LTN. Really annoying that it didn’t operate any of my flights, seemingly operating the AMS services exactly before and after my flight. Grrr.
