What is Eastwind Airlines?

Eastwind Airlines was a short-lived American low-cost carrier that operated flights from several different bases between 1995-1999. Their first hub was Trenton-Mercer Airport (TTN/KTTN), before moving to Greensboro International Airport “Piedmont Triad” (GSO/KGSO) in 1996. Its fleet consisted of three Boeing 737-200s and two Boeing 737-700s.

What is the Boeing 737-700?

The Boeing 737-700 is an aircraft created by Boeing, being the “middle” aircraft of the Boeing 737 Next Generation family, which consist of the Boeing 737-600, 737-700, 737-700ER, 737-800, 737-900 and 737-900ER. It competes with the Airbus A319 and is a little smaller than the very popular 737-800.
