Well, there’s not alot of chance to encounter that kind of senario I just experienced this morning in the Caribbean.
I’m from a french Island of France called Guadeloupe at 8H39 LCL Time or 12h39Z we experienced an Earthquake of 6.7 of magnitude at more than 100kms from the closest island and with 32kms in deph.
After I woke up, I prepared and join the expert server for JB flight from JFK to PBM this morning at around 8h15 LCL. I was already taxiing for rwy04L of JFK and about to line up and wait as cleared by the ATC at that time when : the door of my bedroom starts to vibrate quickly and other furnitures strating to shake at the same time, IMMEDIATLY my heart starts to sped up and I begun to look around me realising it was realy what it was, AN EARTHQUAKE !
At that time, the circonstances couldn’t allow me to focus on playing a game right now so I just told ATC “stand by” as there’s no other misc msgs available in the Sim to say we are ready or not ready to yet or any sorts. I did a 180° onto the right of the last hold-short taxiways of 04L, as I was about to enter the runway from second one, I stoped beyond the taxiway onto the empty holding area and waited the time for it to stop or for me to see if I will survive this or not .
It was an under 5mins earthquake in duration, nothing collapses off the walls, I was OK and get great a heartbeat check that I would need .
I could finally depart out of NY 5mins later with 180° help of ATC and still in the Air inbound to Suriname right now.(I did land with a great smile of that epic flight)

Yeah or something like “standby/realworld interruption” would sound more realistic whenever you have to go to the toilet when you’re about to set takeoff thrust (at THAT moment ) or you dealing with mosquitos on your legs or any realworld emergncy that your Sim attention needs to be stop for a moment
Anyways, naa I don’t think that would deserve the Devs attention to add that kind of Misc message, Ifever they’ve found interedt in it but I dout about it, but that would be knid of fun
