Hello folks, welcome to my return trip as the time has arrived, time for me to head home after an amazing time in 
St. Maarten and 
Dubai. Well perhaps, I was in Dubai for two weeks. So to wrap up this Dubai vacation, I will be posting three parts of this return trip starting with part 1 as the first leg on Qatar Airways going from Dubai to Doha 
. So I hope that you enjoy this first leg.
So during my Dubai vacation, I went to this restaurant called Khan Darbar 
and got this special dish called the Chicken Biryani 
with Sprite 
. It was good. Then I went to explore the Expo City Dubai. I even ate at that restaurant called Brunch City 
. Then I went to Wild Wadi Waterpark Jumeirah where I was able to get on all rides and even waterslides which was so much fun. Then went over to the GHRAOUI Chocolate Dubai Mall to see if they had Dubai Chocolate 
that I could try and they did. So I got that and tasted it and I felt the taste of the pistachios and obviously, the milk chocolate. Then I went to the Dubai Mall and walked around the whole entire mall, exploring different stores, souvenirs, food courts, etc. And I even bought some souvenirs and snacks for me to snack on the plane back to St. Louis. Then on a Friday afternoon at around 3:00 PM, I checked out the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai M Square Hotel 
and then went to the Mall of the Emirates to explore more stuff. Then at around 6:00 PM, I went to The Dubai Balloon 
by the Palm Jumeirah to ride that balloon, staying there til they were closed at 12:00 AM. Then I explored the rest of the places at the Palm Jumeirah, without getting any sleep since I had the 5:50 AM Saturday morning flight to Doha and I had to be at the airport at 2:50 AM. Then at 2:00 AM, I finally left Palm Jumeirah to head to the airport, going to Terminal 1, flying on Qatar Airways. Getting to the airport at 2:53 AM, I went inside the airport, stood in a long line, lasting for 25-40 minutes before finally getting my boarding passes for the three flights that I was taking including this first leg. I was expected to board at 4:45 AM to depart at 5:50 AM for Dubai . So let’s get right onto the shots.
First Flight: Qatar Airways Flight 1003 - Dubai to Doha

Alright, so after getting my boarding pass, I proceeded to the airport security, didn’t check any bags, but proceeded through security before catching the DXB Sky Train aka the Automated People Mover to the Concourse D Gates and here I am, arrived at Gate C54 (Gate D14) DXB airport at 3:58 AM. Upon arriving at the gate, there goes my aircraft that arrived from Doha
, unloading the passengers before getting the plane cleaned up, and preparing some catering before boarding at 4:45 AM for our 5:50 AM flight to Dubai . So ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard Qatar Airways Flight 1003 service to Doha . Let’s get this flight started.
Upon boarding and before pushback, the sun started to rise
. Then exactly 5:50 AM, we pushed back from Gate C54. The Qatar Airways safety video was played on the IFE in our seats, then started up its loud GE90 engines, set our takeoff flaps, and then taxiing to RWY 30R for takeoff from Dubai . You can see the Emirates Terminal where you would spot a bunch of Emirates B777-300ERs and even a few B777-200LRs at Terminal 3 Concourse B and C and a bunch of A380s at Concourse A that we taxied past.
The captain goes, “Flight attendants, prepare for takeoff,” before entering and lining up RWY 30R for takeoff from DXB.
And off we go we tookoff RWY 30R from DXB airport, spotting that Emirates B777-300ER that just landed from Miami
. But anyways, we are airborne, en route to Doha . Goodbye Dubai . We’ll c ya next time.
We banked to our left, flying west en route to Doha
. You could see Palm Jumeirah that I went to for The Dubai Balloon and Palm Jebel Ali that we flew past. Since I was sitting at the right, I couldn’t see it. But anyways, en route to Dubai .
Alrighty, a short cruise at FL300, flying over the Persian Gulf
taken from Seat 15K 
. Unfortunately there was no inflight service since it was a short flight. But I took out my snacks which was KitKats Chocolate Biscoff and Fiesta Chips. I even took out my AirPods, put it on and listened to Gamezi Palace 
.
Then I chewed on bubblegum while cruising. Then we began our descent onto Doha
, and then flying over the Persian Gulf during our descent, we see Doha Airport in sight, aiming for RWY 34R for landing into DOH airport. The captain goes, “Flight attendants, prepare for landing”, as we put our seat backs in the upright position and I put my AirPads away upon preparation for landing.
Here we are on short final RWY 34R before we touched down into DOH airport. Once again folks, prepare for landing into Doha Qatar

And ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Doha Qatar
as we just landed at approximately 5:50 AM. We exited the runway and here we are taxiing to Gate C8 for arrival to DOH airport.
And here we are, arrival to Gate C8 DOH airport at 6:00 AM. So time to grab my stuff plus my luggage
, exit the aircraft and proceed to the passport control 
before re-entering security and heading to Gate C11 for my next leg from Doha to Chicago on another Qatar B777-300ER.
