Hello folks, welcome to my second trip of the Early Summer 2025 Trip to St. Maarten to Dubai as I do this big trip over to Dubai via Miami and Doha. So in this first part, I have done my first leg on American Airlines Flight 2440 from 
St. Maarten to Miami 
which is what I am going to post now.
So after arriving to St. Maarten from Miami and arriving at the hotel, I spent my one week vacation where I went plane spotting for two days since there wasn’t that many flights to spot, depending on the SXM schedule. That spotting location was taken place at the Simpson Bay where I was able to spot at a safer place. Then I went to Maho Beach 
and spent a couple of hours in the water 
. Then I went on a ride 
around St. Maarten and stopped by Burger King 
. What I had was a Texas Double Whopper , Fries 
, a Sprite 
, and even a Strawberry and Chocolate cheesecake 
. I had that and it was very delicious. Then continued driving around, plus passing by St. Maarten Grand Case before making my way back to the hotel by Princess Juliana Airport. Afterwards, I started folding and packing my clothes in my luggage 
and the rest of stuff in my personal item 
, ensuring that I didn’t leave anything inside the hotel. Then went to bed and gotten some sleep 
before waking up, getting ready for the big day by 12:40 PM to be over there at the airport at 12:46 PM. So, I grabbed my stuff, checked out of my hotel 
and headed off to the airport at 1:00 PM, getting to Princess Juliana International Airport at 1:06 PM to catch my 4:40 PM flight to Miami . Arriving at the airport, I went inside, got in line to check in at the counter, showed the agent my passport and ID 
, received my boarding pass, went through airport security and I was on my way to the gate for boarding at 4:05 PM. So here how this goes in the photos.

Alrighty, so after going through security, I head over to Gate A4 and arriving at Gate A4 at 3:00 PM, my plane wasn’t there yet. So at around 3:26 PM, I spotted my flight landing at SXM airport and at 3:32 PM, here goes my flight that had arrived at Gate A4 SXM airport, unloading the passengers, then getting the plane cleaned up before we began our boarding for the
305 Miami. So ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard American Airlines Flight 2440 service to Miami . Let’s get this flight started
Then after boarding and finding my seat
, the aircraft door was closed and at 4:43 PM, we pushed back from Gate A4, starting up one of its CFM56 engines as the safety demo was demonstrated in the cabin, then commenced taxiing to RWY 10 before starting up its other engine.
The captain goes “Flight attendants, prepare for takeoff”, just as we were about to hop on RWY 10 and line up, waving to a bunch of spotters before we began our takeoff roll
And off we go as we have lifted off RWY 10 from SXM airport before banking to our right, heading northwest to Miami
. Goodbye St. Maarten , c ya next time.
After takeoff and banking to our right, we are headed northwest en route to Miami
, flying past SXM airport that we just tookoff from, and even seeing the entire country of St. Maarten, airborne - flying over the Caribbean Sea 
. I took out my earphones 
to listen to music 
.
We leveled off at FL360, flying over this beautiful ocean
at FL360 before we flew past Turks & Caicos 
taken from Seat 22F . Then the flight attendants started prepping up the cart with snacks and complimentary beverages before strolling down the aisle starting with passengers at the bulkhead row of Economy. Once getting closer to my row, I took out my leftover Popcorners Snack and then opened up my tray table. Then I was given Biscoff Cookies 
and AA mini pretzels 
with a cup of Diet Coke that I requested. After that, I put my finished drink in my seat pocket with the wrappers inside of it until the flight attendants walked across the aisle, collecting trash 
. Then, closed the window shade to get a quick nap while listening to music .
Then opening up the window shades, we began our descent onto Miami
, as the seat belt comes on. Then as we near 10,000 FT, the captain goes “Good evening ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking from the flight deck, we are about to be below 10,000 FT, flying over this beautiful America South ocean. We should be making our way into Miami approaching from the east, into the west. The weather condition in Miami is mostly clear with the temperature of 75 degrees Fahrenheit. So, we should be on the ground in about 5-10 minutes. So flight attendants, please prepare the cabin for landing”. Therefore, we have our seats in the upright position, tray tables up, window shades open, and eventually, my earphones put away, aiming for RWY 30 at MIA airport.
After seeing the views of Miami Beach
, Biscayne Bay, Downtown Miami, and even flying past Miami Senior High School 
, we made our way onto short final RWY 30 before we landed onto MIA airport
And we just landed into Miami International Airport from St. Maarten
. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 305 Miami as we exited the runway, taxiing to our arrival gate, Gate D32, while you can see that Qatar B777-300ER in that Retro Livery, taking off RWY 26L heading over to Doha 
And we have arrived at Gate D32 MIA airport. What a great flight. So, time for me to grab my belongings, exit the plane, and proceed to passport control
before heading over to re-enter security before taking a look at the MIA airport display, guiding me to Gate E23 for my 11:30 PM flight to Doha . Welp, it says it on my boarding pass. Anyways, toodles.
That completes my first leg of my Dubai
