Dublin Airport RWY 28R holdshort point (new info) - Good news it has been moved

I hate to be that guy but the Holdshort point in Dublin Airport got moved in real life to the "normal" position on the runway. (also please correct me if I am meant to post on this category or not)

So here’s what I mean.

I’ve also been to this Airport recently (in real life), as in I departed the airport using the full length of RWY 28R and it caught to my attention that the Holdshort point was not in the position that it is in the game. (so I made this)

Another quick point

The images under the heading "the new position in real life" are from the website called Airnav.ie

This is where I got it, and also the map can be found as “Aerodome chart - ICAO” and “EIDW AD 2.24-1” is a pdf file containing the map next to the “Aerodome chart - ICAO”

About Airnav

Basically they’re the real deal as they also
Operate in Dublin Airport ATC tower. (and other airports around Ireland)

(Honestly this whole topic sounds like a joke, as there’s no satellite imagery or real life evidence of this that I have, ik I should have took a picture but I didn’t sorry, but hopefully the Airnav is enough)

My final thoughts

Do we need this right now - no Honestly I only made this as a heads up and plus it's just a small detail anyways so it's not really that serious. (now I'm really wishing I took a picture while I lined up on the runway)

but yet again it’s fine if you don’t believe me, we will wait for the new satellite imagery to come out

That’s a really minor detail and they devs have a lot of work on their plate with the community asking for new updates and aircraft reworks (especially the A380) so I don’t think we’ll see this but maybe in later updates (it doesn’t take a lot of time to change a hold short marking in game).

Hey, the devs do not edit airports, it all falls upon IFAET members. This issue has been forwarded to the editor and a change should be coming soon!
