Heathrow and Dubai manage very well on the two that they have - plus this won’t happen for a long time anyway, even if for some reason it did get approved. (I’d probably be a middle aged man before this happens)

I would love to see an expanded or even a new airport in Dubai. Terminal 2 at OMDB definitely needs a renovation.
Why? I doubt that Dubai will ever need an airport this big and they already have two.

Yep, Dubai’s oil is estimated to run out by 2025 I think, hence why they are building so many things such as the palm deira, the worlds largest theme park which is is expected to be completed by 2019 and Abu Dhabi’s jeddah tower is going to be the new worlds tallest building with a height of 1,000 metres tall I think which is expected to be completed by 2019. They are also planning to build the worlds fastest train, " The Hyperloop " it is apparently going to travel faster than an airliner, travelling at more than 500mph it is apparently going to travel 100 miles in just 10 minutes! incoming cringy text Now that’s what I call efficient!
