I received a Level 3 violation due to a mistake I made. I made the mistake unknowingly, but I can’t appeal it because it was a serious mistake. My account’s grade has been downgraded from 3 to 2. Will it return to 3 after 7 days?
I am asking this in the general category because I just need some general information.

yes, after 7 days it goes away and you’ll be back up to grade 3. (given that you meet all other timely requirements)
No matter the mistake, try making an appeal. They often give first time courtesies, and you never know. The answer is always no until you ask!
I feel like if everyone did this it would get kinda clogged with “just because” appeals though. What would one even write as a justification?
Happened to me. I accidentally taxied through someone that I was following and the ATC kicked me out and issued me a violation. (The reason I taxied through is cause my connection went out and I lost all visual contact with other pilots) and the plane ahead stopped taxiing, and when I finally did come back online I was already through them. My first violation I had.
I went to the Appeals and they took the violation off without much argument.
