Another question…Does the IF staff know like how frequent is for example a livery used? Or how often frequent do planes fly to an airport? Does it also contribute when choosing a livery for an upcoming aircraft?

To the first two questions, I believe the answer is yes. Periodically, when updating the public on the reasons behind a certain decision, Jason and Dan have given us stats on usage of planes, and therefore presumably liveries used as well. After all, Infinite Info, Infinite View, and other trackers display that information, so tallying it up can’t be that hard. To your third question, to a degree, yes. They take many things into consideration when giving us new liveries. As Benny has stated elsewhere, most often it’s by the popularity of the airline IRL that the decision is made, along with the popularity of the livery feature request
