In my opinion the physical issues is not a major thing to look at as it will with other models reworked be a low priority case. While a major issue the MAX 8 have is its technical information in regards to the actual flight model and its carachteristics. The point I am trying to make is the range, too overpowered, and the weight/balance is not correct. This results in a way too low fuel burn with average fuel burn at between 1.500-1.800 kg per hour based on weight. This results in way too high range which is not the case for B38M and it cannot burn less than E190 which has a bit smaller engine and it has an average fuel burn of 1.700-1.800 kg. The aircraft feels a bit lighter than the B738 which may be correct but this is the result of the engine beign to overpowered. The weight as mentioned is also related to the techinal issues the aircraft has. The techinal side has to be fixed and not overlooked as this is a serious issue.
Not sure about everyoneâs talking about the high pitch when taking off that the MAX is giving to us, but I can explain that based on my research.
The MAX was designed to have higher and forwarded engines to maintain proper distance to the ground surface. As stated, due to this reason, the MAX can pitch the nose pretty high when taking off. Hence, Boeing secretly installed the MCAS to put the nose down, which resulted in two fatal crashes as the old MCAS only collected 1 side of AOA sensor instead of 2.
Not quite.
The MAX is meant to handle just like the NG. However, the flatter surfaces of the engines actually produce just a little bit of lift in scenarios where flaps are retracted and the angle of attack is high. MCAS was designed so that, in those specific situations (which should really be never) the nose can be pushed down just a little bit, so it handles more like the NG. On Lion Air 610 and Ethiopian 302, the angle of attack vane was malfunctioning and calculated a much higher angle of attack and much lower speed than reality. As such, MCAS activated when it shouldnât have, and the planes crashed.
Some minor things will be fixed
Biggest ick for me with infinite flight is, their exterior detail and quality stays consistent with every aircraft release
Interior quality is always hit and miss when it comes to minor details. From cabin lights to functional switches and instrument readings
Ex, the MAX only has 1 functional switch ( landing light) compared to recent releases that include lights, seatbelt and smoking
The A350 is unfinished and was a slap in the face of the consumer who pays good money for a finished product
If they finish Project Metal, I think we can get better quality aircraft and graphics.
âI have very high expectations for small things that donât matter and get extremely offended when they arenât fulfilledâ
The airplane could use a good car wash - Every livery has dirt on the paint. Otherwise, the aircraft looks fine by me :3
As long as I can do MDW-BDL on SWA Iâm happy tbh
That is my favorite author of all time.
Very relatable lol
Behold the Glassy-eyed automaton sharing memes like its 2010.
I did notice my post was flagged lol Sorry, i forgot free speech is only allowed if all parties agree
Itâs the little things like that that make the game even more beautiful lol
Indeed I noticed the same about the elevator trim very early wich looks always stuck in positive motion where in reality the neutral doesnât.
I use to work on the Max everyday

Honestly, thereâs a way bigger fish to fry on the MAX (might as well use the sun), but I wonât say it in order to keep some users happy with it. I donât mind the imperfections a whole lot, but I still hope theyâll be fixed later on. It has some. . . interesting features leading to certain âquirksâ to say at the least. I havenât created or seen anyone create a support topic on it and I probably wonât. Like I said, some people actually enjoy it. Wouldnât you agree @PhorzaSky ?
No.. no no no no no no! That KLAX-YSSY still haunts me.
(But is is still fun to fly for 14 hours )
Iâm still giving hope that they will fix the stabilizers position and flaps in the next update.
It does look better at -100% Trim (and nobody flies at this Trim position)
I donât belive theyh will but weâll see
Other than that, the overhaul body of the airplane looks great
Im fine with the model, but i would slightly tweak the sounds. The idle sounds waaayy to high pitched, and at cruise the engines should sound muffled and you can barely hear the air flowing
