Does “PULL” require a taxi request?

(This may already be covered, if so can be closed)

If I choose my PUSH point, and then a PULL point, let’s say the pull takes me just past my gate, would this movement require a taxi clearance?, or would that perhaps only be required if the target PULL point was further away. Maybe a bit of a silly question, just wasn’t 100% sure. Thanks.

no, it does not require a taxi clearance. (the auto-pushback feature is intentionally limited in how far it goes to prevent people from using it over long distances.)
