Hi, just wondering if this screen in the new 777-200ER is able to display information, or if it’s just for show?

I am currently flying a 772 and it doesn’t show anything other than a single white light

I’m pretty sure in real life that light blinks, and then enters info on the screen but not in IF. No, it dosent work.

This feature on the Boeing 777, does not work. It is a neat feature that could be used to further implement features in the future though. But very good question 😄

Hey! From what I see it does actually blink in IF look very closely and you will see the line blinking. Don’t know if it is just me that sees that but it’s pretty cool!

Sorry, but sidenote, does the A359 screen that says “OIS not avail” have a feature or is it like this?

No it doesn’t have a purpose in the simulator at the current time. It may become functional in the future, but we’ll need to just wait :)
