I certainly do, flying VFR through the highlands or the alps is a unique experience, but as our current scenery is rather… bland, it isn’t currently that enjoyable. I think we’ll see more requests for fast GA aircraft like the King Air and Cessna Denali. What do you think?
I don’t know, but a lot of people won’t because they’ll be busy flying extremely long Haul routes with their Dreamliner’s and 777’s along with the 747’s and A380’s.
Or because half of this community hates GA.
But if FDS release any more GA planes (hint hint FDS) people will be flying them a lot more…
Trust me… Ill be flying my Cessna around the world ;)
At 100knots 😂😂😂 id like to see ya try
Yes probably. I’d fly and explore a lot of places, like the Florida Keys, mountains, and all that.
Definitely. I can finally utilize the Cessna 208 for some nice VFR flights up in the Catskills.
Alright. I’m gonna do it. Once global drops, I will hand fly my Spitfire around the world. Realistically. Stopping for fuel when I need it. You all heard it here first and I expect you guys to hold me accountable to it when the time comes around. #roundtheworldspit
Absolutely. One of the many reasons I love GA is that it’s always nice to take it low and slow, and enjoy the surrounding scenery, and with global, we will have much better scenery, and much better places to witness these great spots. Can’t wait to take a 208 around Fuji or into the Grand Canyon. Will be a great time.
We should so do a group fly in spits around the globe… As an anniversary!
I’m just going to be cruising around the Minneapolis St. Paul area in my Cessna 172 after global is released, and probably do some long haul flights to.
I personally think that GA Aircraft will be used to see the scenery! Going at 100 knots… You can stay around an area going in a straight line for a while…
I’ll be flying Commercial Aircraft, like everybody else, then I’m flying a Cessna Citation X around the world.
I will be flying all the time in my SR22. I really wish more GA aircraft were added to IF though… :/
I personally will be flying more Regional and Short Haul routes. Probably with the B738 or E170.
I can’t wait to fly VFR around my hometown and other interesting parts of the world. I’m A huge fan of GA flying right now because you can do way more than when you’re flying the airliners. People get so caught up in the shiny new jets that they completely close themselves off to a whole other side of aviation. I really do hope global pushes people to explore the world in something other than a 777or 787 like 90% of people do right now. The change would be healthy for the community the release of a new GA is LONG overdue. Only time will tell but I’m ready for a GA Revolution!
MaxSez: Ever hear about a fuel “Blivet” for GA! GA all the way!
