Do you fly the C208?

I do most days and enjoy it so much, but you?

Here are some pics from recent flights on expert. Let me know what you think.

Happy flying!

I´d love to, but the only routes I know are in the Caribbean with St. Barth Commuter, do you have any C208 route numbers I could do?

If you have a sub to FR24, filter it and you’ll find plenty of routes to fly.

I fly wherever I feel like, delivering urgent medication…

Yes, Suzy Air as well has regular lines. But the C208 can fly anywhere.

Thanks everyone! I´ll make sure to fly the 208 soon!

@Tep_NEMO sorry for the thread hijack.

There’s also plenty of private liveries on the C208, so you could make up a route if you want and consider it realistic.

Your most welcome! The more GA around IF, the better imo.

i haven’t flown it often and haven’t really got the hang of how it behaves.. i really need to learn it

its honestly really nice and fun to fly, perfect for short hops

Yes. I commonly fly it

you don’t have to have sub to filter

I fly it occasionally, but it’s a bit annoying because I have to use like 4% trim if I do more than that it loses all its airspeed and practically stalls when I’m on climb out

It might be that you climb with a too high IAS. Standard climb is a constant IAS 115kt, with VS starting at anything from 500 to 1200 ft/mn, depending on TOW, altitude and OAT, and droping gently as one climbs…

Ah, you are right, thanks. One only need to register, which was not the case before. I have not done it yet!

I love flying the C208 across the continental US on Southern Airways Express as well as island hoping in Hawaii. Alaska offers a lot of C208 routes across several different carriers we just don’t have their Liveries. C208 flights across Mexico are fun as well on Multiple different carriers with the main one being Aerus which has international flights to Texas. And lastly Azul Conecta which offers a huge amount of C208 throughout Brazil! I have so many more i could list lol

You could indeed make a list, that would be helpful.

I tend to be lazy and pick-up a cargo livery and registration number that I carry anywhere I feel like flying… like in my pictures.
