Do Military Aircraft have different cruising altitudes?

Question above ^

I am asking because I regularly see some users on the IFC saying their cruising altitude in military aircraft is something like 34,500 ft (wasn’t that the VFR altitudes?). Now that I am climbing in an F22 myself, I was wondering what altitude I should go for.

I think it depends what they use and what exactly they are doing. Saw some KC135, KDC10 and A330MRTT near me in the Refuling Holding at 26.500 and now near eastern border the seem to use 26.000 or 30.000 🤷

While Military aircraft often do not use civilian fixes and airways it is not uncommon to use VFR attitudes. It is easier to deconflict with civil traffic.
