Yep they work just did a 13hour one last Monday
If you’re doing a long haul it’s pretty obvious that you’re pretty heavy at the moment. Climbing to that height and maintaining such low speed wouldn’t make sense, you will definitely stall. Keep FL340 at M0.85 and after a few hours of fuel burn you can climb that altitude or simply leave it on that altitude for the rest of the flight. Hope it helps 😊
We can keep going in circles, but why?
You were just under MTOW, stay at a lower altitude early in the flight. Simple.
You keep saying you never climbed steeper than 1200, but that doesn’t mean you were step climbing. You have to level out lower when you’re that heavy (or increase speed if your plane is telling you it doesn’t have the speed to stay aloft…).
We can keep repeating that, but why? You seem to have an answer in mind that you want, instead of taking the answer that’s given and most plausible.
Cruising speed for an aircraft should never be 0.77 for those planes and at that alt
jeez relax I literally haven’t replied since this morning
Step climb. You’re too high at 40,000 with full fuel. Wait until your airframe is lighter to climb that high.
Yea sounds good its what everyone else has been saying. Thank you everyone for your comments and help, it is very much appreciated!
