@BennyBoy_Alpha and the others pretty much covers it but I also wanna say that since discord is a social media so you get to do voice chat in a server, it would be a fun and engaging way to get people to hang around with you and basically they would be able to watch your stream if you’re streaming a flight. So honestly, discord is really the go-to communication platform for everything gaming related for me. For a discourse forum like IFC, it’s more of a place for posting and replying to topics, sure, we can dm even in here but it is more of a forum so it wouldn’t need anything that has to do with voice chat or livestream, figure I just add some more things to share

Unfortunately opening your camera — is prohibited. For quick chats discord is preferred instead of the community. I agree with all of your points.
