Discord for IF

Hey I was wondering if there is an official IF discord? And if there isn’t, am I allowed to make one? Thanks!

Sorry, but there isn’t an official discord for infinite Flight. But there is a heck ton of smaller IF communities, whether it be a discord for a IF YouTuber or just a small community.

Yes I know about that, but i’m talking about a discord that anyone could join, to have group flights etc.

Some va’s have discord but its mainly youtuber’s who do infinite flight videos.

IF’s “Discord” is basically the IFC.

Advertising Discord Servers here on the IFC is prohibited due to the moderation issues it presents. You are of course welcome to create your own server, but you are not permitted to post the link here.

If you’re referring to @moderators, they are IFC moderators, not discord moderators.

There isn’t any Discord moderator here. Unless you’re talking about Discourse, which is a completely different thing.

There is of course moderators for each server, but say something is said in a voice chat that would warrant a ban if said on the IFC. Due to privacy laws, recording voice chats isn’t doable. There’s no evidence of what was said, and hence no action can be taken. Infinite Flight cannot associate themselves with a discord server as that would mean what is said there is their responsibility, however they have no way to enforce reasonable conduct.

Yes, sending the link via DM to a few friends (as far as I know) is fine. Might be worth double checking with a moderator though.

You can make whatever you want. But the public advertisement of it on the IFC is not allowed per the Terms of Service in relation to voice based services.
