We have tried this (discord stage feature). Unfortunately, those didn’t do as well as we expected, and once a discord stage ends, it’s no longer viewable to those who missed it.

The AMA text channel has quite a few benefits. The main ones being:

  • Permanently visible. Once they end, they’ll still be viewable to read back on
  • Logistically easier. These can be hosted on the go, anywhere in the world. No need to worry about microphones, background noise, audio etc…
  • Ease on the guest. Not having to worry about how you sound or any mistakes you make while on mic makes it stress free (presenting takes up a lot of energy & brain power)
  • Typing allows for more technical, clearer and direct answers
  • Everyone will have a fair chance to ask a question

Having said that, next weekend we will be doing an Instagram live stream with Pete, so don’t miss out on that!

I don’t receive the option to pair my discord account to the IF API tool when I press the connect button on the IF app I tried to do it through safari like I was previously recommended, which I did receive the connect button but when pressing it, I am redirected back to infinite flight.

This seems to be an issue people are experiencing on iPhone (Discord has a CSS issue). The button you need to press is hiding in the forest.

A workaround is to try linking on a larger device like a tablet if you have access to one.
