Hey there, im having a bit of trouble with IF online. Everytime i load in to do a flight on the expert server my flight stays connected on the ground and after about a min or two the flight just disconnects from the multi player server but everything else stays cinnected. This has been happening to me since yesterday and im not really able to understand the reasin for this. Is this due to my poor internet connection? But this has never happened before, only since yesterday. Tried restarting the phone, the app and even tried with clesring cache but nothing works so i went ahead and started the flight on training server and it stayed connected for about 5 mins max and then got disconnected again. Please help.

Had no issue uploading the below attachment as well so im guessing theres something more to this.

I’ve also experienced this issue recently. I just get randomly disconnected even though my internet is working fine.

I had that issue once, all I did was reset my router then it worked (well it’s also bc I have an old iPhone 11 and sometimes it just buggs out lol)

I run on mobile data. I don’t use Wi-Fi. For the past 7 odd years I’ve been flying IF only on mobile data as well. This has never happened

Have you tried using the same data connection on another device?

If the same issue persist on another device, it might be due to your data connection. Also are you using a VPN?

Same here it’s really frustrating it has cost me so many flights

My primary device is actually a oneplus 12 but I can’t run IF on that as all my work is done on that, so I use the op12 hotspot as a unmetered connection on the note to run IF but will run it once on the iPad and see if the issue still persists. It’s really surprising this is happening because the note still runs IF on 40-55 fps still

Edit: nvm apple ID has some issue unable to download IF on that.

Hello!

Looks like you’re using JIO as your service provider if not mistaken.
If so, I’m afraid it’s one of the most troublesome ones we’ve come across.

Ahhh makes sense now. This issue occurs only when on jio 4g, no issues with 5g as they’re phasing out 4g connectivity slowly, makes sense now. Thank you
Although this problem hasn’t ever occured to me on jio 4g either, this has to do something with their 4g phase out I’m guessing?

Honestly, I don’t have any good info on that.
JIO is just.. different. My background is within telecom networks as well and I’ve even asked several past colleagues about this and they don’t get it either.

Funny how it’s exactly the opposite for me, Jio 5G does not like IF at all. 4G works fine most of the time.

Tried multiplayer again yesterday no problem. 10hrs straight stayed connected on jio 4g. will edit the message of there’s anything during today’s flight.

Edit: Did another 11hr flight, no issues again. It seems to have stopped disconnecting for some reason now. So no problem. What I’ve noticed is low network coverage and a very busy airport will cause this issue on 4g network for me at least, but once airborne and moving out of traffic it’s all good.

Yes it is, as long there isn’t way too much traffic it’s good. Runs 40+ fps as well no issues. To be honest this isn’t a performance issue, it’s a network issue.
