Context: I have asked this question before but college hit me like a isekai truck and i couldnt reply in 7 days.
So, I’ve noticed for the last few attempts ive tried to fly that i get disconnected from the server around a minute after I import the Simbrief Fpl. This seems to only affect the Tablet. When i fly with my phone it had no problem and i was able to continue.
I dont know why, let alone how to find the cause.
I thought the community might have some ideas.
ive tried the following in accordance with the previous suggestion to find the cause
That sounds frustrating. You could try a few things to narrow down the cause:
- Clear app cache on your tablet (in Infinite Flight → Settings → General → Clear Cache) and restart the device.
- Check your internet connection — sometimes switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa) helps.
- Make sure your tablet date & time are set automatically — a mismatch can cause server disconnects.
- Try importing the SimBrief FPL manually (by copy-pasting the route instead of using the direct import) to see if the issue repeats.
- Reinstall Infinite Flight if the issue persists — but only after backing up your settings or replays.
- I have cleared app cache
- Internet connection is good ( not bad but not great).
- Checked the date and time, its the same
- Ive tried this one as well. By manaully adding stars and sids. the issue still persists
- This is a weird one. I reinstalled the app and it seemed to work fine, importing fpls for about 2 flights. The 3rd one when i joined the group flight from LAX-DXB, Disconnected me everytime i copied the group leaders fpl. I then tried switching networks, and even tried it on my phone which surprisngly also disconnected from the server.
Personnally i dont think a busy airport is influencing this as my first flight was to EGLL which had 300 inbounds at that time.
Would love to get a second second opinion on this.
couldnt find another topic simillar to this in the last month, hence i posted again
