Disconnect while at destination gate

Hello,

when I park my aircraft at the destination gate and I leave the app (without terminating the flight) in order to file a PIREP for a VA, and I then enter the IF app again and I see that I got disconnected from the live server (to solo mode) due to being away too long from the app, and I then terminate the flight, would I still get all the XP, flight time, landing added to my IF account stats or would all progress for that flight be lost?

Dont quote me on this but I believe you would still retain the landing and XP.

It would record all the flight data before the disconnection, you should receive all XP points as on the ground, you don’t really receive anything and it’s kind of just realism and roleplay.

Thanks for the answers!

I conducted a quick test on a live server.

I took off, landed again and after leaving the runway I left the app (so that it was running in the background). After waiting like 2 minutes, I entered the app again. The upper right icon indiciated that I got disconnected from the live server. Now I terminated the flight (while being disconnected) and it didn’t add my progress (landing, XP etc.) to my IF account stats.

I ran the same test sequence again but this time I reconnected to the live server (by turning on airplane mode on my smartphone and then turning it off again) before terminating the flight. This time the progress (landing, XP etc.) got added to my IF account stats.

In summary, it seems as long as one is able to reconnect again before terminating the flight, the progress is not lost.
