Disciplining yourself without ATC

People are aloud to use any livery they want. There’s reasons we have access to them. It’s a Simulator. As long as they’re professional and have respect i don’t see why people are bugging about what livery someone wanted to use.

Why does it matter what livery they’re using. Very disrespectful. You guys talk about professionalism and realism. First of all talking down on any pilot because of the livery they use isn’t very professional. It’s a simulator not real life, people use whatever livery they want wherever they want, shouldn’t really matter. want to discuss further, PM me, to avoid unnecessary off topic discussion on this thread

Yes, people have access to whatever livery they want, but Expert Server is for realism, not flying Southwest around Europe

Shouldn’t matter. No rules stating people can’t use liverys in certain parts of the world. As long as they act professionally and respect atc. Than it shouldn’t matter. Now again. You want to discuss further my PM. Not this topic. Thank you have a good day

I will say if that’s the worst problem in IF then we will probably all be quite happy! 😁

It’s not though, it’s how unrealistic pilots are being on Expert Server these days

I know, just saying that this would be a great place to get to, if livery was our only issue.

I always fly realistically. I just don’t want to fly if it’s not real flight.

If i fly Royal Jordanian from KDEN to KMCO, would that make me unprofessional ? 👀

If you fly on expert then yes

Good post, hopefully people not on IFC see this, but sadly as with many posts like these, users who are unaware of IFC will not see it.
Despite that, I would like to add something: If you find yourself in a situation where you’re too close to the aircraft in front (you shouldn’t though), slowing down to an unrealistic speed is not the solution. It will solve the spacing problem between you and the aircraft ahead of you, but will cause or worsen spacing problems between you and aircraft behind you. Instead, go around. It’s better to affect just yourself than ruin the experiences of 3-5 others.

True. It is fun to see different aircraft with you, that’s part of the subscription really. Sometimes you do want your own route, which is helpful for me because I live on the South East coast of England, making me get all the traffic for Heathrow and Gatwick above me in my small Cessna.

If everybody had access to approach/departure plates and used them it wouldn’t be as much of a s**t show. IFATC usually does a good job at sequencing but charts would make things a lot smoother.
